I’m pumped about this one. I’m in some pretty heavy company with Ramsey Campbell, Steve Alten, and Guy N Smith. Kind of nerve-wracking to be honest.
You can buy it from Amazon here:
or at Severed Press:
or at Barnes and Noble:
In other news I’m slaving away on my query for novel #2 and on the second draft of novel #1. I’m finding that queries are a different beast than novels and short stories.
Congratulations, man!
Pretty heavy company indeed. Ramsey Campbell — I’m impressed!
The cover art is pretty beautiful, too. Are you going to be selling any autographed copies, or should I purchase one and mail it your way for that?
Thanks Alex. I don’t have plans to sell autographed copies, but if you pick up a copy and send it my way, I’ll be glad to sign it.
Loved your story, Michael. Any chance I can get my copy signed? 😉
My copy should be here any day now. Looking forward to it.
Thanks Alex.
By the way, any word on when Dark Highlands is coming out? I’d be happy to post a link here once it’s available. I was intrigued by your description of “Taken by Darkness”.
Amber – No problem. Use the contact form above to get my email and I’ll send you my address. Thanks for your interest.
The official release date is April 30th, but my hunch is that it will go live on Amazon a few days before that. Will definitely let everyone know when it’s available.
Thanks. 🙂
Go ahead and email me your address if you’d like, and I’ll ship Dead Bait 2 your way ASAP for some scribbling.
Dead Bait 2 came today! Just finished reading “Shiners,” and I enjoyed it a great deal. Nothing feels quite so universal as a father-son fishing trip, and you have a knack for describing action, of which I’m envious.
As for Severed Press, they’ve put together one hell of a beautiful — and terrifying — little book. I’ll be keeping my eye out for sub calls from them.
Thanks for the kind words, Alex. I tend to set many of my stories in outdoor locations. I still need to dig into the other stories in DB2. I’ve been occupied with “Rama”.
I’m a big fan of Severed Press. Some of their novel deals on Kindle are quite good.
